the Empok Nor Rattle
Neverwinter Nights announces its reopening in just a few days time. The newest of the Station’s night clubs was damaged recently by an attack by an ancient Red Dragon named Mixiflow Blazebringer who has opted to take up residency as DJ for at least the next few months.
Owner, Drowkisser Drillys told the Rattle that despite the damage and obvious lengths it takes to keep a dragon entertained, he’s delighted by the residency and encourages patrons to come back to the club and dress the part as treasure for the Dragon to horde.…

By:Nees Jahn Kijn for the Federation News Service.
A fistfight broke out today between the Andorran and Tellurite delegates after news was brought to the Council that starships belonging to both members were involved in a small battle. Four Tellurite ships moved to block three Andorran ships (all supposed freighters at the beginning of the conflict) from approaching Star base twelve.
Admiral Serene Phillips, Commanding officer of StarBase twelve dispatched runabouts to break up the fight.
“I don’t know what they were thinking of,” Admiral Phillips stated. “The squabble started when we had a docking section go down for repair…

Displays across the quadrant are interrupted by feedback for a fifteen seconds, then a rippling white flag, with a fanged and horned skull over a blood red disc appeared.
“Hello Federation dogs and their puppets. I’m looking at you Cardassia and the so called Klingon Empire. We are the Ashen Hand and by now you know we are responsible for the love taps on Empok Nor. That’s just the start. The Federation is a fractured entity, no longer able to keep the peace within their borders and their citizens are disillusioned with the status-quo. The Ashen Hand is change my…

Kat turned her attention back to the two guards. "Since this is my first time, what do you recommend?" She was curious if they would actually recommend something or just tell her both were good. And maybe she wanted the Marines to wait just a bit longer...
Twitch pulled his sun glasses down over his nose and looked her over, eyed Rhu then pushed the shades back up and considered. Straightening his tie he and said, "Right. A vir.."
Rhu coughed slightly and shook his head at the guard.
Twitch grinned and shrugged.
And now the Continuation

ON.
The air above the Paris and specifically, the Palais de Concorde office and residence of the Federation President on Earth felt electric. The manicured grounds and buildings had been under scrutiny for months now as preparations were laid for the arrival of the Tholian ambassadorial mission.
Levori smoothed her cadet uniform, pleased at how the tailor had gotten the cut just right. It was a heavily modified cut, to be sure but it still did resemble (mostly) her Starfleet cadets dress uniform. It just had the Betezoid’s own spin on it, which she liked very much.
The past two…

When the door chime went off, Cadence reached up, grabbed the pull-up handle he’d installed above the doorframe between his bedchamber and the rest of his quarters. The crunch-up was moderately difficult, the muscles in his back and midriff sore from his ‘core’ day workout and he decided that needed more attention.
The chime sounded again. Whoever was outside held the button down this time and the chime reverberated in protest as Cade picked up a towel and padded barefoot toward his door.
“Yes yes,” he the Orcrist’s chief counselor said, “I’m coming…”
At his approach, the door went one-way…

As most diplomatic affairs went, this one was very posh.
Held at the Federation’s Presidential headquarters at the Palais de la Concorde in Paris, France, the turn out was substantial, with the VIP list a veritable who’s who among the Federation diplomats, Star Fleet Admirals and anyone else who thought they should be present for the first arrival of Tholian diplomats to Sol system and Earth in history.
A Federation News Service crew had been covering the event from the grounds for a week and it had been made mention for the past month that a diplomatic courier ship had…

The skin contact helped with their telepathic conversation and he sent, ~'Kinda. You can't always plan. A general cover story helps, but you also could have planted the idea that some of the others were getting handsy and you need defending. But, I like the way you went with it. Or is it a deep seated desire to be chased by a company of marines.'~ His tone took on a more teasing tone as he led her toward a corner building that was very well lit. We've returned to Sol system and delivered the Pioneers home. My request for shore leave has been approved. Fleet Command has approved two weeks of leave for the bulk of the crew and we'll be putting up in Sol Station for the duration. We'll need to maintain our own internal security due to the cloak, but I'm going to have Lieutenant Mira poll the contingent and see who wants how much leave. We'll at least get them a week off, but it's something that we'll have to take that into consideration.
Mira seems like a good officer and I hope…

USS Valiant
Stardate 79855.3
We have retrieved our command crew and are headed towards Earth per orders of Admiral Th’keliss which took a good amount of juggling to accomplish. But we’re on our way and will be picking up a compliment of marines and intelligence personnel from the USS Pioneer to take them someplace.
That’s as much as I know right now. My verbal orders, after being retrieved from the freighter. I’ll receive sealed orders at Earth from a party known to me, according to the Admiral, which is pretty much par for the course since I believe…

Captain’s log, USS Valiant. I’m back aboard the Valiant, obviously. Stealth runabout ride from Quatral Prime back to Empok Nor. Caught the USS Astrea Imprimatur via slip stream drive to rendezvous with the Adelaide, to pick up the command staff.
Lots going on, but this will addendum the Adelaide’s log. Dayna is wrapping up things there, I hope, and we’ve been tasked with a message by Fleet Intel to ferry a group of intel personnel and marines off the USS Pioneer, Commodore Malbrooke commanding) to what appears to be a hidden Nor class station in the badlands that the remnants…

Captain’s log, Rhupert Tyree commanding aboard the SS. Adelaide.
While following leads chasing down rumors that I believe are accurate on the Ashen Hand, Adelaide picked up an odd distress call from one Proctor Amalian Dreth of Avan’s Colony. This Colony is located on Quatral Prime, a world in the Cardassian side of the often contested border with the Federation. The Planet is infamous for having started out as a Cardassian mining world where they concentrated their efforts on harvesting Hydrogen from the atmosphere and converting it to deuterium for antimatter power sources.
In early 2373, the Maquis attacked the…

Operation Horoscope, to secure alternative transport under the Department of Operational Analysis is complete. The ship is now registered to my Nom de Guerre, Logan Wright as an independent owner. We’ve changed the transponder over and given her a back history running a dozen years, christening her the SS Adelaide, a Federation registered ship
When we run into Nob and his gang again, we’ll have to figure out how to explain it. Things are coming together though.…
