Tensions within the Federation Senate escalated again today when reports from Star Fleet and member worlds along the Romulan Neutral Zone reported increased pirate attacks in the past month. Neverwinter Nights announces its reopening in just a few days time. The newest of the Station’s night clubs was damaged recently by an attack by an ancient Red Dragon named Mixiflow Blazebringer who has opted to take up residency as DJ for at least the next few months.
Owner, Drowkisser Drillys told the Rattle that despite the damage and obvious lengths it takes to keep a dragon entertained, he’s delighted by the residency and encourages patrons to come back to the club and dress the part as treasure for the Dragon to horde.…

A fistfight broke out today between the Andorran and Tellurite delegates after news was brought to the Council that starships belonging to both members were involved in a small battle. Four Tellurite ships moved to block three Andorran ships (all supposed freighters at the beginning of the conflict) from approaching Star base twelve.
Admiral Serene Phillips, Commanding officer of StarBase twelve dispatched runabouts to break up the fight.

Explosions ripped the quiet evening (local time) at the jointly managed Nor Class Space Station Empok Nor in the Trivas system. As of the fgiling of this report, station officials have declined to comment officially.
Un-Officially, the death toll stands at forty three with nearly a hundred more injured and another hundred listed as missing. The primary explosion occurred at the newly launched evening dance club called Neverwinter Nights. The popular venue was at its maximum capacity at the time of the explosion.

Since the two of them were going to perform the duet, Sisters, from the musical White Christmas, she and Amy would need to practice. Especially if they wanted to get the choreography right.
So, Kat invited Amy to join her in her "office/ops/studio" that she'd set up. With the bed and dresser, she really didn't have the space she needed in her quarters for a studio, but emptying an unused room worked fine. All she really needed was a desk, a closet, a couch, and a large mirror. And, the adjoining bathroom if it became necessary.

Mishka hurried through the corridor of the Valiant, going mostly against the stream of personnel who were all heading for the lock and shore leave. As usual, Security was getting the smelly end of the stick and to make matters worse, there had been more adjustments to the Security department.
For some reason, the department went through more Chiefs than people changed underwear.

Jov hummed to himself as he finished the Level Two diagnostic of warp core interlink distributors. The Valiant’s warp core hadn’t been used in just over a week and was due to be run up to full power in the next watch cycle to make sure the prolonged exposure to the plasma eddies, currents and tidal shifts that the Badland’s had subjected the ship to.

We've returned to Sol system and delivered the Pioneers home. My request for shore leave has been approved. Fleet Command has approved two weeks of leave for the bulk of the crew and we'll be putting up in Sol Station for the duration. We'll need to maintain our own internal security due to the cloak, but I'm going to have Lieutenant Mira poll the contingent and see who wants how much leave. We'll at least get them a week off, but it's something that we'll have to take that into consideration.

While following leads chasing down rumors that I believe are accurate on the Ashen Hand, Adelaide picked up an odd distress call from one Proctor Amalian Dreth of Avan’s Colony. This Colony is located on Quatral Prime, a world in the Cardassian side of the often contested border with the Federation.
