Captain's Log/Earth: Shore Leave

We've returned to Sol system and delivered the Pioneers home. My request for shore leave has been approved. Fleet Command has approved two weeks of leave for the bulk of the crew and we'll be putting up in Sol Station for the duration. We'll need to maintain our own internal security due to the cloak, but I'm going to have Lieutenant Mira poll the contingent and see who wants how much leave. We'll at least get them a week off, but it's something that we'll have to take that into consideration.

Mira seems like a good officer and I hope she'll fit in. Security chief hasn't been quite the problem child that helm has been, but we're getting things shored up.

After confirming shore leave through the Admiralty, the Betezoid mission on Earth reached out. They've arranged a liaison officer to help the crew find things to do if needed. They plan to host a welcome at the Embassy the first night and I at least will be attending, though with only two weeks I'm not going to make it mandatory. After that, I'm not sure what they have planned.

The crew deserves a rest. I've been pulling them in different directions over the past couple of months.
